The radio operators and maintenance technicians of the 505th TCG, and later the 14th Air Commandos, all worked "TDY" from their squadron headquarters. They had "Priority 1" travel documents to enable them to move from duty station to duty station as required by the changing fortunes of war. These "orders" record the names of those present in the theatre at the time. A few of these documents have been preserved and faithful copies are included here.
T-288 dated 21 January 1967 is the first set of travel orders published after the 14th Air Commando Wing took over in II Corps from the 505th TCG. As such, it records most of the names of those technicians who were working in II Corps at the time including the author of this web site.
T-4261 dated 19 August 1967 is a supplementary set of travel orders for the replacements who arrived in country that month. It carries the names of two of the contributors to this site and of one airman who never came home.
